If there was a way to kill large numbers of people at once, I'm sure the Germans at least considered it. One early method was a motorized van with a modified exhaust ---- the exhaust was vented inside of the van instead of open air. The van was packed with Jews and/or undesirables and then taken for a country drive. It worked, but was abandoned because there wasn't enough vans to kill the numbers of people the Nazis had in mind. Gassed, shot, hanged, starved, diseased --- I think a little bit of everything was tried. One of the greater problems was how to dispose of the massive amount of human remains. Near the War's end the disposal problem became especially critical to hide the crimes.

The Jews were of course a major target of Hitlers, but they were not alone on the list. Also slated for extermination were the mentally ill, physically handicapped, homosexuals, gypsies, etc. In fact, many of the victims of the Holocaust were NOT Jews, but members of other undesirable classes. The Jews have been wildly successful in claiming the Holocaust as their own; just the word itself is synonymous with Jew. And, while Jews did account for the greater share of the murdered, they were by no means alone. But, compared to the other masses of victims the Jews are more likely to be educated, literate and even ambitious. Gypsies don't write history books. It's said that most of the European Jews were killed during the War. The same is true for Gypsies in the occupied countries, but try to find a historical reference to support that.

Don't forget though...Not all non- Jews killed were due to their faith, but every Jew killed was BECAUSE of it.
