if hitler had listened to his general staff and delayed the war till 1944, he would have won and remained in power for a little longer. If Hitler would not have come to Italy's rescue when Italy attacked Greece in May 1941 and rather have the Italians sweat it out with the Greeks(or the Italians not attack at all) then Germany would have in my prediction won the war. You all remember that Hitlers real plans to attack the Soviet Union was in May not June 1941. At that time Stalin had sent many of his heavy armor to the east to fight the Japanese. Yes, the Soviets did have more armor on their western front to fight the Germans but Germany had strategies that outclassed the Soviets. Plus the German armor was lot more stronger.
